I am the MD and founder of My Business Advice. It’s said that most authors write a book because they wanted to read it, but it didn’t exist. As a business coach I wanted a business site that could support my clients.

The site is designed for use by startup and existing businesses of any size and provides facilities for Networking, Marketing and primarily Business Development in a supporting environment. Members can use the facilities to generate their own business growth, coaches can use the facilities as a resource for their clients or we can provide coaching/mentoring on a one to one basis or within a small group effectively giving each business a group of extra sales people and non-executive directors.
As a Business Coach I have helped my clients set targets and goals, create a firm financial foundation, establish effective marketing strategies, develop great teams, and generally provide a supporting structure for their business growth to give them options.

I have been running my own businesses for over 18 years and grew up in both my father and grandfathers manufacturing businesses so I understand the pressures involved in running a small business.

Recently
I am working with a company that will teach businesses how to get themselves to a position where they are able to present their ideas effectively to investment funders so that they get the funding they really need at the minimal cost to them in terms of the proportion of their company the investor will ask for. Not only that they will continue to work with them until they have obtained the investment funding they need.
Personal
I have been married to Lorraine for the past 30 years, and I am privileged to have 2 daughters of 22 and 26.
I like a range of music, dancing, travel, eating-out, football (Chelsea – a long suffering fan before their recent success) and believe that life is out there to be lived.
As a wise man said to me "When you run out of money you can always make more, when you run out of time its gone forever".
