Develop

These are friendly business development groups of around 12 members who meet once a month; with each group run by a Group Captain. The sole purpose of the group is to develop each of the individual businesses within that group.

• Running a business can be lonely, however never need to feel alone again as each business is assigned a support buddy from within the group.

• Every month the Group Captain, a guest presenter or a member business gives a short workshop on an area of general business development.

• The group then discuss how they can apply the lessons learned to the group as a whole and to their individual businesses.

• Individual strategies and goals are created which are shared within the group, and each member is made accountable for their goals by their support buddy.

• Any challenges faced implementing the goals are discussed at the start of the next meeting and further support is geared so that members can learn from the other member's experience.

• Group members are encouraged to recommend fellow members to their business contacts where possible, however this is informal and part of developing each others business.

• Social and general interest events are also encouraged for the groups to ensure that a good work v life balance is achieved.

We are currently seeking Group Captains to form these groups within the next few months.

Members who are serious about growing their business quicker be allocated a business coach.
