Finance is often considered to be difficult or boring, and therefore something to be kept as the domain of accountants, yet if I were to ask you what the main objective of a company is you would likely say that it is to make a profit.

And all businesses need to measure that profit, or surplus, in order to know that they are in fact making one. Combine this with keeping control of their cash flow and proper analysis of their finances and they are well on the way to achieving financial mastery in their business.
