A lot of the people that filled in our survey earlier this month talked about traffic. Most people just wanted to get shed loads of traffic coming into their site as they felt this would solve all their problems.
So I wanted to take a step back and provide some insights that I have found about running and building up a successful website. Overall the main focus should be on the websites profit. This is because profit pays the bills.
So what you need to do is to look at your conversion rate on the site and then work out how many visitors you will need in order to hit your revenue targets.
